§ 2.24.060. Vendor relations.

It is to the city's advantage to promote and maintain good relations with vendors. The purchasing division and operating department staff shall conduct their dealings with vendors in a professional manner and shall promote equal opportunity and demonstrate fairness, integrity and courtesy in all vendor relations. When feasible to do so vendors within the city should be utilized for supplies, materials and equipment.
